The purpose of this page is to offer evidence showing the supposed conflict between science and the Bible are greatly overstated. I admit there are challenges to a literal translation of the Bible. Just as Christians often disagree on many theological issues due to different interpretations of scripture, they will also disagree about creation issues such as the age of the earth and the role of evolution for the same reason. There is always the question - should the Bible always to be read literally or could some passages be allegorical?
For example, could a day represent an era, or is a day only a 24 hour period of time? After all, a reference is made to "the day of the Lord" in the Bible, which is clearly not a 24 hour day. An important question to ask is - does it matter? The answer to this question can be complicated. I believe it is dangerous to ignore literal interpretations, such as the virgin birth and resurrection, because critically important theological truths can get so watered down to the point where they lose the intended meaning. On the other we should keep in mind technology was non existent to the early readers of scripture. Would early man be able to comprehend discussions about DNA or other scientific topics due to the knowledge we have gathered over the centuries. A hundred years ago scientist could not imagine how an intelligent being could understand millions of prayers at the same time. Today we know using a satellites and airwaves millions of conversations all over the world can occur, so the thought of God understanding all our prayers does not seem so mind boggling today. Maybe God just wanted readers to know He created the heavens and the earth and there was an order to His creation. How He did it was not important.
This page will simply highlight some of the scientific evidence that actually points to God as well as divine authorship of scripture. Obviously, there are arguments for and against much of the evidence being presented. Again, I will use the court of law example, evidence is not proof, but in a court of law if enough circumstantial evidence is presented, a reasonable conclusion can be made. My goal is to present enough evidence for you to understand why rational people, including many scientists, do not see science as a hindrance to believing and following God.
Stay tuned, this page is under construction, much to add in the very near future. The main focus of this page will be to provide resources for those sincerely interested in the connection between God and science.

Resources
You should gather from reading the opening paragraph of this page, there are contradicting views from many Christians who are highly regarded in the field of science. It should be obvious the objective is not to argue one view over another, the objective of the resources provided is to point out science should not be used as an excuse to reject any belief in God.
