Portraits for a cause

Stay tuned for more information as this page is being constructed. The purpose of this page will be to provide information regarding my efforts to produce portraits for select causes. They way it will work is I will donate my time taking portraits with the requirement a negotiated amount will be paid to select causes. You will be given the files so you can order as many prints as you like wherever you like, whenever you want. You would pay the photo lab of your choosing directly. The total amount you would pay for my time and the prints will typically be less than what you would pay a portrait studio for a similar session. If you are not happy with the results you pay nothing, the only loss would be our time. Since I am retired, I have plenty of time so I will do whatever it takes to give you a package you cherish. No limits on my time or the sessions we do.

This is truly a win situation for you and a win for the organization you will be supporting.  It will also be a win for me because I need a reason to justify all the equipment I have purchased for my small home studio and location shoots! In some cases, I may charge a $100 equipment recovery fee. This will not apply to any of my personal fund-raising projects. My inspiration for this idea was to find a way to support my granddaughter's basketball programs while at the same time doing something I really enjoy.

Ground rules for all sessions - all poses and outfits will be family friendly. I will not do any portraits of anything that can be deemed risqué, sexual, or controversial by a reasonable person's standards. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, preferably a parent. In most cases I will require a pre-session meeting. I will want to know all I can about who is being photographed in order to produce a portrait that reflects who they are and what is important to them.
